The ‘Born Bad’ Collection 08′ features a true bad ass vibe inspired by the femme fatale Mae West. Since 2005, this bold clothing line boasts clothing with a statement;
As opposed to ultra-feminine deep, low cut necklines or bias cuts, Hellz Bellz offers the fashionista a variety of denim, jackets, and shirts sporting subversive designs which challenge one’s typical idea of a graphic tee. I can see the inspiration of the 60’s/70’s women’s sexual as well as political revolution working behind the mastermind of each image. This is definitely a brand that speaks to the type of fashion statement many of us want to make; being a female who not only has an eye for individuality and strength but also looks ‘hella’ good in a variety of styles. Hellz Bellz incorporates a combination of plaid, leather, graphic lettering, and contrasting colours to make a new type of fashion statement, challenging the onlooker’s gaze.

A Dose of 70’s Nostalgia- Originating in Venice, CA, by Christina Apostolidou, Simon Cohen, and Matthieu Le Blan with its first collection being launched in Spring 2008. The line delivers a nostalgic dose of 1970’s beach bum California. The designs are bright, clean, fresh, and very retro. Logos and graphics also promote eco-friendly ideals. What is even better is the sexy, comfortable and flirty look of the garment. The line lets us daydream as if we were sent back in time to a Farah Fawcett movie, laying on the sandy California beaches of times long past.

What is Brad Pitt’s secret weapon to keep his kids from wanting too much for Christmas? No TV.
“The kids don’t ask for the big gifts for the reason that they don’t see a lot of the American cartoon television, which is packed with all those manipulative commercials for big toys that look so fantastic,” says Pitt.
“When they do see that stuff is when they start asking for the toys, so we figure if they don’t see them, they won’t know they’re there. So we have gifts, but we try to keep the money spent to a minimum.”
Yes, this is coming from the same guy who’s wife just gave him a Ducati Monster 1100S.

Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson has spoken out about the fire that destroyed his home in Dix Hills, N.Y. earlier this year.
Although he has so far refused to blame Shaniqua Tompkins for the blaze, he did confirm that she had in fact had been ordered to leave his home only days before it was mysteriously set on fire. Saying, when asked if he believed that she had set the fire, “Well, I don’t want to say that - don’t try to make me say something I don’t want to say. But, the circumstances to it might seem that way.”
“The courts told her she had to leave. It’s kind of more like, ‘If I can’t have you, you can’t have it,’” he told Quddus Philippe, a correspondent for U.S. TV show TV One Access.
Marquis, 50 Cent’s 10 year old son was ruched to hospital, along with 50 Cent and four others, following the blaze.
Tompkins had actually filed a lawsuit against 50 Cent earlier this year, on the grounds that he had promised her a house 10 years ago.

LA based designers, Brothers Yves and Cedric Benaroch have taken rhinestones, tie-dye and nail heads to make a product that looks sexy while at the same time,
is comfortable and modern. It was during the Spring 2004 Smashbox Fashion Week, that the line gained its status among the fashion elite, with such celebrities as Calista Flockhart and Harrison Ford in attendance. A signature item of the line is the ultra low rise sweat pant that features a fleur De Lis logo at the rear and unique stitching giving the pants an inside out appearance. Celebrities such as Carmen Electra, Madonna, Nicole Richie, Paris Hilton, Alyssa Milano, and Jessica Simpson have been spotted wearing these trendy sweat pants. The line is definitely great for girls who want to look sexy while feeling comfortable at the same time.

Onlookers were stunned to see Pam arrive at the Art Basel art gallery in Miami Beach wearing nothing but a men’s t shirt and panties. Completing the look were the questionable bruises on her shoulder.
Anderson almost seemed to be unaware of the commotion that she was causing and stuck around to pose for pictures while bending over paintings with her butt hanging out all over the place.

Originally known in Canada as Deuce Custom Ink, Dussault apparel has gained momentum as a flashy, classy, rock star all out with your balls out kind of brand that is not stopping anytime soon. This is currently my favourite brand at the moment and this is no surprise as the clothing is limited edition, artistically pleasing, and made with true to last quality materials. Deuce Custom Ink is now known as Dussault as Jason Dussault, owner of the company had brought his Vancouver urban line to LA where the name Deuce was already taken in the U.S of A. As stated on the Dussault website, the line prides itself on being an oxymoron of sorts; gritty yet glam, luxurious yet comfortable, and urban yet chic street wear. Another thing I like about the brand is the variety of influences represented in the clothing. Dussault draws from rock stars, rappers, tattoo artists, and fashion icons to arrive at his unique designs. The hoodies are what really put Dussault on the map- Chinese silk lines the inside of the jacket lining while the outside of the hoodies have patchwork and embroidery. Designs include skulls, koi fish, snakes, Japanese warriors, cartoon characters, and nautical stars. Dussault apparel offers a nostalgic taste with a hopeful look towards the future of fashion.

Those in the market for high-end leggings are apparently not all that worried about the economic downturn, as made evident by the record sales of Lindsay Lohan’s 6126 collection. Her new line of leggings are available through Henri Bendel, Nordstrom, Intermix, and Lisa Kline stores; come in 35 different colors and patterns; and range in price from $44 to $132.

Audigier’s newest line, Paco Chicano, offers a Latin twist on the urban street wear that Audigier is known for. The line Paco Chicano was first established in 1987 by brothers Franck and Gilbert Ros. The Spanish background of the two brothers inspired their designs. The line was bought by Christian Audigier in November 2007. Audigier had been long time friends with the brothers for many years so the collaboration was destined.
Paco Chicano now runs under the co-creation by the brothers and Audigier. The clothing is vibrant and colourful which reflects the Latin culture so prevalent in LA. Designs include hearts, flowers, angles, birds, and matadors. The designs are meant to represent freedom, world peace, and energy. I also love the way that the clothing includes Spanish phrases such as “Hasta el Final de mi vida” which translated to “until the end of my life”. Another message includes: “Ciudad De Nueva York”, in which the translation is obvious. The line is a combination of vintage images, tattoo art, and hip hop street aesthetic. Audigier Definitely does not disappoint with this newest line. Paco Chicano is a must for those who love urban wear which reflects the streets of LA.
